The Sino-British Fellowship Trust is generously offering research grants through the University of Oxford China Centre to support University of Oxford graduate students to conduct research in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The Sino-British Fellowship Trust (CIO) is a non-partisan grant making charity promoting academic exchange between China (broadly understood) and the UK in order to deepen an unfettered understanding of each. Eligibility
You must be a graduate student enrolled in a research programme at the University of Oxford whose research involves a need to travel to China. Priority will be given to DPhil Associates of the University of Oxford China Centre.
Awards
Two different award levels are available. Note, grants are provided for travel, subsistence and living costs only.
(1) Standard Award:
Up to £5,500 for short-term research in China
(2) Katherine Whitaker Bequest Award:
Up to £13,000 for long-term research in China
